Howdy all,
Long time reader first time poster
I'm looking to purchase a 74 bay reg number GPD 447N its running an Astra diesel 1700 engine which was apparently fittting around 2004 when the van was restored (by the previous owner to the guy who has it now) so the guy who owns it now doesnt really have much knowledge about the engine converion etc..
Hence me asking here, just wondered if this was anyones van on here or if anyone knows who owned it, 1700 astra engine with twin radiators mounted either side in the engine bay.
It was apparenlty restored 2004 but its looking rather tatty now with rust bursting through in the usual places.
I'm doing a TDI conversion on my own bay but its taking way too long (3 years and counting) I am really hankering for another van to get out and about again at this years shows.
Any info much appreciated.

Cheers man,
I think your right its ford fitment on the wheels and obviously green at some point and has had a bad paint job in the meantime cause the paint is peeling.
I was thinking about buying it but was a bit dubious about the quality of the engine install as after seeing pictures the rads etc looked a little cobbled together and the owner had no idea what, how or why the engine was installed.
I thought if anyone knew they would be on here, and i was right! and you said exactly what I thought.
I think its sold now, but thanks anyway for the come back.
