And what engine might that be? _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
Your experiences are worth shed loads to others, including the f'ups - live and learn.
Wouldn't YOU rather learn by someone else's mistakes? So would they.
'78 Bay, 2 litre 091 box, EJ20 NA & the ashtray's on the 'right' side.

Ta, just realised I'd answered him in Subaru Power too.
On the EJ20, EJ22's the sensor is on the coolant manifold. It's a brown, 2 pin connection.
This is connected to the ECU.
Dependant on temperature and vehicle speed (VSS), the ECU sends a ground signal to the relays controlling the fans. There's more than 2 relays IIRC for the 2 twin speed fans on Turbos.
Somewhere on here I posted the fan operation thresholds for speed/temperatures for both the NA and Turbo EJ motors. _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
