|
|
I have an engine and loom out of a 1998 Forester. It is the one with the ECU attached to the engine itself. The way i see it it should be easier to sort.
However, it seems impossible to find any wiring diagrams for it.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for an X6 ECU that bots to the engine? |

In my limited experience.....
You are far better off searching for the subaru service manual for the donor vehicle rather then a wiring diagram for a specific ECU code.
I've found the Impreza turbos subaru service manuals on PDF for both classic and facelift models which neither ever specified the ECU code. Even then I found the best source for rewiring the ECU was in EFI trouble shooting area of the manuals and not the electrical wiring diagrams. _________________ Think......

I'm open to being corrected as I'm by no means an expert, but to my knowledge all subaru have the ECU placed in the left hand side footwell and are not attached to the engine. Also the phase 2 ECU's are all three plug units. _________________ Think......
