My step daughter is about to but a T4 camper and has asked me to go and have a lok with her as she knows nothing about cars.
The only problem is that I know nothing about T4 vans.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on the T4 what to look out for.
Someone told me to avoid the 1.9 Van as they are a waste of time. Is this folk law like you must have a split screen rather than a Bay or is the 2.5 that much better.
She only plans to potter round the beaches of Cornwall so I would have thought a 1.9 would be fine as I have clocked over 250,000 miles in my last 3 company Passats without a problem.
Any useful thoughts? |

As far as I know if the van is not carrying heavy loads all the the time.
Or towing.
The 1.9 is indeed a great van.
Stay as far away as possible from the 2.4 straight though. |

My mate has a 5cylinder one which is ok but by no means is it fast. But the thing is a right shed though so I've been put off from them
