RE: Split to 9XUD conversion ???

]My first post on VWKD, been using the site for ages for info so thought I better register, I'm converting a 66 RHD split with a peugeot XUD engine, running a 5 rib bay window box. Engine and box are mated, flywheel drilled and clutch sorted, I've cut away the Frame horns and IRS'd the suspension and fabricated the rear gearbox mount,

Has or is anyone doing the same conversion?

Any advice would be very much appreciated :-]

Just an update if any ones interested, have installed my XUD9TE engine, made an exhaust and cooling system using a under floor (between chassis rails) Land rover defender radiator with 16" push, pull fan, ran it up to last weekend, on over heating issues, spot on. coming back out now for a clean and tidy up,
