Lets put it this way: I'm sort of VERY alone when it comes to swapping engines here. I know only a few other guys with swapped engines, not even a handful.
I cleaned up the workshop today and dumped two engines that have been around for ages, one Scooby EJ20 and a Volvo B200, both are possible to MOT here in a T25. Had the EJ out for sale a couple of times, I even handed it away for free if anyone wanted it. But nope...
It really feels like s*it when a fully working, fully serviced, cleaned and painted engine has to go to the metal bin. Sad

Grr. Hand luggage to the UK? Wink
Come over to "Bug Jam" and get a free lift from Dover. I'll pick you up.

I was actually thinking of putting them in the van and bring 'em to England. But finally decided that it will probably not happen so I'll dumped them.

Picking up the Multivan tomorrow. Maybe the TDI maid trip should go to England?.. Happy

Strange...

Where ever you look at the Internet you see people who have put Subaru engines in their T25:s but up here in northern europe both T25s and Subaru engines are cold like liquid nitrogen.

Maybe the cars are a little bit hotter compared to two or three years ago but it is got to be a STI or WRX if you want to find a buyer of the engine uphere.

I don not know why it is have to be Volvo, Saab or BMW engines in every turbo converting project at garaget.org, zatzy.com, rejsa.nu, sävarturbo or what ever. It is hard to find more reliable engines than boxers (except the WBX).

I have a friend with a 1990 Magnum that have some smaller engine issues. Your engine and my transaxle with Smallcar bellhousing would have been perfect for him.
