Hi again people,
I know that this may sound crazy but i am quite happy with the low gearing of my so far very reliable reduction boxes on my splitscreen and would really rather keep them for a while but it would be nice to lower my standard height by 3" or there abouts especially if it is not going to cost me anything,i live in falmouth, cornwall which is full of hills and speed humps so for all of you radical lowering fans i would not want to go any lower.
Has anyone lowered their bus whilst keeping the reduction boxes, is it just a case of taking the rear plates off and turning them on the splines (which i keep hearing about but have never seen,).
I hope that after you all get back up off the floor at what may be an absurd question someone may be able to give me some answers.
Thanks for now and sorry for my ignorance.

Yes you can, just remember the lower you go, the worse the camber gets so tyre contact area reduces and wear out quicker. Also axles tubes are no longer level so the oil splashing to the bearings isn't as factory designed.
