My sliding door wouldn't stay open, on account of this spring missing:
Some DIY handy work and a donor clothes-peg spring made me this:
Now it works like a charm again. I am curious though how long the spring will last (rust/fatigue/etc.)
Thought I shared it with you. Found it on Shoptalk somewhere, I think, and tried it out.
