Hi lads does anyone know how much you can lower a splitty with TDi with passat gearbox on it without cutting The centre of the torsion bar |

Any joy with your imports?
i cant help with th eabove question.
I;ve got a T25/T3 rear suspension inmy split and I cut out tge whole torsion bar to accomodate it.. |

hi Graham,
looking at some of the bays I've seen with TDIs and flipped Passat boxes, I don't think there's much room to lower it without endangering the sump. The flipped box puts the engine pretty low. Maybe if you could engineer a shallow sump and modified oil pickup you could spare a couple of inches to lower it.
have you put a TDI in a split yet? |
