hi all,has anyone used a transverse set up in a bay? engine and box from same car.do you have to flip the box or alter it in some way. i think its been done just wondered how easy it would be.any info would be most useful.thanks a lot....megabus

Yes there is/ was a thread on vzi about a guy that fitted a complete set up from a golf in the back of a bay. Lots to cut out though it looked good.

A friend of mine stuck a Passat engine and automatic gearbox into the back of a bay window. No details though as he does this sort of thing all the time. Was the guy who made my engine support bar with my Subaru conversion.

But I believe you can take the engine and entire subframe and pretty much stick it in there with the correct fabrication skills.
