evening all
ive started my conversion today took engine out and stripped the bell housing
my question is
the shaft has some movement in it is this ok it feels like its fixed but has some play
any help much appreciated

| The movement is OK, but make sure you have a support bearing at the engine side. If you don't that play will kill your box. |

These are my personal opinions, no one elses:
Please read the stickies up at the top of this section. I've given you a fair few links to my conversion - I believe you're doing a late bay convo (look at the early posts on here from me)
1/ State what engine/conversion you are doing. Put it in your sig - saves you typing it every time. Some of us "regulars" really CBA to search through your posts to find out what you're doing - hence the "Before posting" sticky - it's up there ^^^ at the top of this section
2/ It's becoming a bit obvious that your using Rich's conversion, but not reading the instructions on fitting
now (all in my own opinion - not VWKDs) read, research what you are doing, read the instructions, then get back with specific questions
Seriously, I'm glad to help. Just don't expect me to waste my time answering questions that have gone before

i apologise for not doing a search properly
i will look harder in future i do apreciated you giveing me time to answer my questions
i am reading rjes information as we speak so maybe no more daft questions from me
